All Around Rome!

Today we got a lit of sight-seeing done.  Since we wanted to spend the next two days in other cities as day trips, we needed to cover all the major Italian sites today.  We started by going to St. Peter's Basilica and the Vatican museum.  My brother David got in line for us at the Vatican Museum early which was nice of him because the line was long.  The museum is HUGE and was body to body crowded so we basically made a beeline for the Sistine Chapel and called it a day.  Then we went into St. Peter's Basilica, which for me as a believing Catholic, was really cool!  We then made our way to a cute little travel agency where we booked our train tickets for Florence and Venice.  From there we went to the Colosseum which was just as awesome as I remembered it, and then onto the Roman Forum before heading to dinner.  At this point we were all wiped out and starving!

Dinner was seriously delicious.  Kevin found it from some reviews online and we had multiple courses.  We had the most delicious bruschetta, the most amazing pasta, AND delicious pizza.  This restaurant totally changed my view about Italian food.  I mean, I've been to Italy before but didn't leave too impressed with the food.  Maybe because I am not really into Italian food in general.  However, this trip totally changed it for me.  I apparently LOVE pasta when it is really awesome pasta from Italy!
